Licensed beauty practice

Ipanema Beauty Bar is committed to providing salon services only within the scope authorized for the professional performing them. California beauty licensees provide services for beautification and may not perform procedures that penetrate or affect living tissue unless separately authorized by law.

Hair and scalp observations

Hair and scalp imaging, questionnaires and visual observations support a cosmetic salon consultation. They are not a medical examination, diagnosis or treatment. When a concern may require healthcare evaluation, we recommend consulting an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.

Honest communication

Service descriptions, expected outcomes, testimonials and AI-assisted content must be truthful, clear and not misleading. Individual results vary. ClaudIA is identified as a virtual concierge and does not present herself as Claudia or as a human professional.

Health, sanitation and professional scope

Services are performed subject to applicable California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology licensing, sanitation and infection-control requirements. A physician’s supervision does not expand a beauty licensee’s lawful scope.
